How do I feel about the government shutdown? That is a hard question. I am not usually one to discuss politics, because it is a heated subject. However since this seems to be the main topic lately why not touch base on this issue.
Obama Care whether your for it or against it, its here. It has been rolled out and if it ever works properly I am sure millions will sign up for it. My main question is if Obama Care is already in effect why is the government still shut down? Why is the people on the hill still sitting around collecting a check and millions of people are out of work waiting on them to make a decision? Around here next week Head Start centers will be closing their doors. WIC is running out of funds, parks are closed, and other needed services are not available.
What's next? Is the SNAP program going to stop? Is unemployment going to run out of funds? Why not cut off millions from disability checks while you are at it. We have soldiers overseas that put their life at risk every second of the day, but we can't pay you sorry. It is ridiculous. We, as Americans, elected you and we are the only ones being effected.
I am worried if this continues much longer there is going to be mass rioting in the streets. There is going to be looting, robberies, and a major spike in crime. We have families to feed, rent to pay, and bills. How much longer can you keep people out of work before Americans get fed up? There will be a civil war like no other.
Not to mention with all this discord we are opening up ourselves to other countries. While they are up there fighting over this mess, another country can use that as an advantage to do us some real harm. Long story short our government needs to get it together.
I am not pro Obama nor am I pro anything else. I am pro Americans! That's what I care about. I care about us ordinary citizens that are struggling everyday and then to have this heaped on us. Get it together Government or we as Americans will take our government back and throw you out on your butts!
