We got the unique chance to try out Caribbean Trading Companies "Red Savina Citrus Slammer" hot sauce. My hubby was excited because he has yet to find a real hot sauce. So when anyone claims to have one he can't handle, he takes it as a personal challenge.

Caribbean Trading Company was founded in 1998 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico by Tim Collins. Here in his own words is his story: 

"Let me tell you a story. It’s about a normal everyday guy who decided to do what so many people only dream about. I moved to the Caribbean.  Now that I live and work here, and travel throughout the islands, I have the joy of sharing this lifestyle and its flavors with you.

So my hubby accepted the challenge of this is really "hot" liquid goodness.  He was thrilled when it came in the mail so he can get to it! I cooked up some catfish, because that is his favorite. You know he was a happy camper. Catfish and a new hot sauce to try.

At first he was disappointed. It had a great taste, but not really that hot. Until 10 minutes later when it kicked it in. Then he went running lol.  Congratulations Caribbean you finally scratched an itch my husband has had for many years. That perfect blend of citrus and crushed pepper flavored all rolled in one bottle! He really loves this product. He is already wanting to buy more.

He is so goofy. So this is a 5 star product. The blend of citrus and red crushed peppers makes it a 5 on the unique scale!
