We were simply amazed to hear that Americans purchased over 50 billion, yes billion, bottles of water last year and the vast majority of these bottles are tossed in the trash not empty simply because the consumer couldn't tell which bottle was theirs. Further research showed that 2.5 million water bottles are thrown away every hour! If MiiBottle's can reduce this waste by simply 1% we could save tons of water and our landfills over 500 million bottles per year.
