I am a certified insomniac due to my medical issues and I am out of my sleeping pills. Lucky for me I discovered the joys of Netflixs. I am also a horror junkie and always looking for a movie that scares the hell out of me. We went and saw The Devil Inside last weekend because it looked awesome. I am always a little freaked out over demon movies. Stuff like that and Paranormal Activity get my heart pumping. Oh and if you get a chance to catch The Devil Inside, the first part is mostly background and kind of boring, but after that it gets good. The ending is lacking cause you never find out what really happens but maybe there will be a part two. Anyways back to Netflixs and the two movies I watched early this morning.
First movie: Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
What can I say about this movie. Good plot but kind of predictable if you are a horror genre follower. Slight twist that the serial killer enlisted a documentary crew to come along on the killing spree. Throughout the movie it sort of reminded me of Scream where the guy was giving the "rules" on being in a horror film. If your bored and looking for a lightweight horror movie I say give it a whirl.
Second Movie: Exorcism: The Possession of Gail Bower
Had my attention as it is a possession movie. Though after seeing one or two eh really some of them are getting a little cheesy. I actually liked this movie. The possession looked real and was a good story line. Not the usually slash and kill everyone type of horror movie. The priest in this one was awesome and I would want him on my side if I was facing a demon.
On that note time to catch a few hours of sleep.
